What information do you need to provide a custom casting quotation?
To prepare an accurate quotation, please provide your drawings or samples, material grade, required quantity, dimensional tolerances, machining requirements, surface treatment, application and delivery destination. If testing, certification or third-party inspection is required, please inform us at the inquiry stage.
Can you manufacture custom castings according to our drawings or samples?
Yes. Most of our custom casting projects are developed according to customer drawings, specifications or samples. Our team reviews the technical requirements before quotation and production to make sure the manufacturing requirements are clearly understood.
Why do you ask technical questions after reviewing our drawings?
During drawing review, we may ask about dimensions, material grade, tolerances, machining, coating, operating conditions or inspection requirements. These questions help us clarify critical details before production, reduce misunderstandings and avoid preventable manufacturing errors.
What casting materials can you supply?
We can support a range of casting materials depending on the product and application, including ductile iron, grey iron and other specified casting grades. Material requirements should be confirmed during the quotation stage so that the appropriate production and inspection plan can be prepared.
What tolerances and machining requirements can you support?
Casting tolerances and machining capabilities depend on the product structure, material, casting process and final application. Please indicate critical dimensions, tolerance requirements and machined areas on your drawings. We will review them before quotation and confirm the feasible manufacturing solution.
Can you provide samples before mass production?
Yes, sample or trial production can be arranged when required. For new tooling or newly developed castings, sample approval may be recommended before mass production to verify dimensions, appearance and other agreed requirements.
How long does a custom casting order take?
Lead time depends on tooling requirements, casting complexity, order quantity, machining, surface treatment and inspection requirements. After reviewing your drawings and specifications, we will provide an estimated production schedule together with the quotation.
What quality inspections are carried out before shipment?
Inspection is carried out according to the confirmed drawings, specifications and quality requirements. Depending on the product, this may include dimensional inspection, visual inspection, material verification, mechanical testing and other agreed inspection procedures.
Can you provide material certificates, testing or third-party inspection?
Yes, relevant material certificates, testing or third-party inspection can be arranged according to project requirements. Please inform us of any specific standards, certification requirements or inspection agencies during the inquiry stage so that the related cost and lead time can be evaluated in advance.
How do you protect customer drawings and technical information?
Customer drawings, specifications, project information and purchasing details are treated as confidential. We do not publish customer drawings, logos or project information without authorization. NDA support is also available when required before technical review.
